A Cereal Based Diet is one principally composed of various cereal
grains (i.e.. corn,
soybean, wheat, etc.). We can make up a custom cereal diet to
your specifications but
we generally use Purina Chow whenever possible.
This section provides information on cereal-based diets. We keep meal forms of
the
standard commercial chow diets on hand for many species of laboratory
animals. We can
homogeneously blend your experimental materials into these diets
and pelletize them. The
following list of diets is designed to show examples
rather than be limiting. Please contact
us for further information on your proposed modifications of cereal diets for your experiments.
