Mix Starches and Fats Easily!

    Shown below are two of the designs submitted to the U.S. Patent Office for the
    Mixing/Cutting Paddle as part of the original patent application. Further research
    and development has resulted in a better understanding (by Dyets) of component
    specification and design parameters necessary to yield optimal mixing/cutting efficiency.

    Further R & D with our Mixing/Cutting Paddle found optimum ranges for wire frequency(1)
    and wired diameter(2) depending on paddle size(3) and rotating speed.  Hence, we filed a
    second "improvement" patent application.  The second patent (#5,462,355) was issued
    on 10/31/1995.

    The Mixing/Cutting Paddle is very efficient and is used on all the "typical" purified diets
    that Dyets prepares. However, the Mixing/Cutting Paddle is not designed for all types of
    mixing applications (large particles may be come entangled on the cutting wires). While
    the Mixing/Cutting Paddle is used on all in-house mixing operations, it is not for resale at
